Why PageLive Exists

Many popular web apps are visually rich but difficult to operate quickly with only a keyboard, and some still present barriers for screen reader users. PageLive focuses on solving those real workflow problems.

Objective 1: Productivity for Power Users

PageLive provides keyboard shortcuts and keyboard-friendly interactions that reduce repetitive navigation, speed up common actions, and help users stay in flow.

Objective 2: Better Screen Reader Feedback

PageLive announces important events in the page so screen reader users are informed when meaningful updates happen.

Supported Web Apps

Currently supported web apps:

Planned Support

Support for the following web apps is planned for future releases:

Planned support is subject to change based on user feedback and development priorities. We prioritize web apps that have significant accessibility barriers for screen reader users and those that are widely used by our target audience of power users and screen reader users.

Slow Pace of Development

Since PageLive is still a personal project at this moment, development is slow and progress is incremental. Each web app requires significant time to develop and test, especially to ensure the extension works well with screen readers. We appreciate users' patience and support as we continue to improve and expand PageLive's capabilities over time.

Platform Support and Roadmap

PageLive is free and currently supports Chrome.

Upcoming development includes Firefox support and broader support for more websites, especially popular web apps that still have accessibility barriers for screen reader users.
